The committee for the Tom Quilty Gold Cup invite you the picturesque Wirrina Cove, South Australia for the 52nd Tom Quilty Gold Cup, from 7-9th July 2017.
Event Director Jean Sims and her team offer a great event from a fantastic venue at Wirrina Cove and this area has been used for endurance riding for many years. Wirrina Cove is located between the coastal towns of Second Valley and Normanville on Yankalilla Bay.
The Sport of Equestrian Endurance Riding requires a single horse and rider combination to successfully complete a pre-determined course within a pre-determined time, thus the motto of the sport is ‘To Complete is to Win’. At all times, the welfare of the horse shall be paramount.
